The contemporary look of this house was achieved by creating a monolithic terracoat floor surface over the existing tiles. The kitchen - living area was combined as one open area. This maximised views & movement through the space.  The centre island with wrap around white counter-top ties in with the counter-tops. Charcoal, white, timber & steel provide a classic backdrop for a more timeless space. 

 

The outdoor space is not a forgotten zone on this property. A considerable amount of time went into designing an outdoor shower out of timber. This timber finish is carried through in the patio deck with pergola overhead. Outdoor entertaining can continue well into the evening around a fire-pit that was created using dry pack stone & pavers in the garden.
