With over 17 years of experience as a Professional Architect, Samantha has made significant contributions to a wide array of large-scale commercial and residential projects. Her expertise and dedication were instrumental in the completion of the award-winning Standard Bank building in Rosebank. As a Green Star Accredited Professional, Samantha leveraged her qualifications to ensure the Standard Bank project met stringent environmental standards, solidifying its status as an exemplary model of sustainable design.
Before venturing into her own practice, Samantha honed her skills and broadened her knowledge base at GLH Architects, where she served as an associate for seven years. During her tenure, she was involved in numerous prestigious commercial ventures, including the acclaimed Standard Bank Offices in Rosebank. Her ability to seamlessly integrate innovative designs with functional requirements earned her a reputation for excellence in the industry.
In 2013, Samantha founded her own practice, focusing primarily on the residential sector. Her passion for creating bespoke living spaces led her to complete numerous house renovations in Johannesburg, each project reflecting her commitment to delivering high-quality, personalized solutions. Since relocating to KwaZulu-Natal, Samantha has continued to expand her influence, working extensively between Johannesburg and the Midlands. Her substantial experience within residential estates in both regions has enabled her to develop a nuanced understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities presented by these environments.
Currently, Samantha is an esteemed member of the Aesthetics Committee for two luxury estates, where she reviews architectural plans monthly. Her role involves ensuring that new developments adhere to the highest standards of design and aesthetic harmony, further cementing her reputation as a leader in the field. Samantha's contributions to these committees play a crucial part in maintaining the visual and functional integrity of these exclusive communities.

Strut Architects is an Architectural Practice based in the Midlands in KZN. We specialize in Residential Projects from new build to major or minor renovations. Our mission is to deliver personalised design solutions for major house renovations, new build residential and heritage renovation projects. We manage every aspect of the realisation of these diverse projects for our clients.

We aim to achieve this through our focus on personalised renovation solutions and we have had the opportunity to create interiors that respond to their architecture and the users. Designing authentic bespoke rooms based on our client’s vision and managing the complete realisation of these meaningful spaces.
