This thoughtful renovation project centered on preserving the character of a charming home with an existing slate roof, while introducing modern functionality and warmth. The slate roof, a defining architectural feature, was carefully retained and restored, anchoring the design in its historic roots.

Internally, the layout was reconfigured to enhance natural light and circulation, blending original details with contemporary finishes. New openings were introduced with sensitivity to the roofline, ensuring harmony between old and new. High-performance insulation and energy-efficient systems were added discreetly to improve comfort without compromising the building’s aesthetic integrity.

The result is a balanced fusion of past and present—a home that respects its legacy while embracing a renewed sense of livability.
