HOUSE HAZARD

Saxonwold

The heritage value of the house was important to the clients and we were mindful of this when creating the new outbuilding addition. The outbuilding aesthetic was matched with the main house as requested by the client. The outbuilding accommodates three garages, a workshop, laundry, and guest / pool room for the teenagers and staff accommodation above the garages.  The north garden and space between the outbuildings was redesigned to connect the two structures and create a better flow between the main house and the outbuilding. The main house was also renovated internally with new wooden flooring and a master bathroom. The steel windows and doors were replaced with timber cottage pane windows with double glazing.
